Hi. I’m Diana, a systematic researcher of human needs, user-centered product manager, workshop trainer/facilitator, business-builder, investor, experienced board-member, and coffee drinker. Today, I'm a Founding Partner at CX by Design, a Human-Centered Design (HCD) company that works with innovative decision-makers in B2B and B2C companies to figure out the needs of their customers & employees. Together, we build innovative, user-centered solutions backed by real data. Our work is focused on the Financial Services, Retail & E-Commerce, and Consumer Goods & Services industries. Additionally, I co-teach graduate students in the Human Centered Design program at Pace University how to apply UX concepts in the real world. Throughout the semester, students work on a design challenge, where they create an original product or service for a client, conduct problem discovery, contextual research, information organization, concept development, prototyping, and usability testing. Formerly, I’ve designed, built, and sold two technology companies. One of them, a data-driven B2C, became AirBnB Neighborhoods; another, a SaaS B2B, is now a core offering in RealNex. These earlier experiences were invaluable, first-hand lessons in building enterprise-wide products with tangible top and bottom-line results and working with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams, while managing all the other aspects of building a business from the ground up.
