With 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, I am a DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion & accessibility) consultant who is passionate about authentic and inclusive storytelling for kids. As a woman with a physical disability and a certified accessibility professional, I'm a subject matter expert in disability inclusion and its many intersections with identities such as race, gender, sexuality, religion, and socioeconomic status. I was most recently Director, Equity & Inclusion at Warner Bros. Discovery, where I collaborated with content groups to embed DEIA into their pipelines. Before DEIA, I worked in content development for kids animation, with roles at Cartoon Network, Disney, and DreamWorks Animation. As a lifelong learner, I'm always reading and taking classes to expand what I know. For example, I recently finished the six-month Google Data Analytics Certificate on Coursera to sharpen how I use data to inform DEIA strategy.
