Created this woman-owned insurance risk management consulting firm to help companies, municipalities, governmental agencies, colleges, foundations, endowments, and non-profits.Selected Accomplishments:• Managed $450M Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) school construction program. Managing the program’s close-out audit, determining appropriate expenses.• Negotiated and resolved $2M Hurricane Irene and Super Storm Sandy FEMA claims• Identified significant insurance premium cost savings and coverage optimization• Directed and had final authority for insurance coverage for the implosion of a sports & parking facility• Manage insurance brokerage relationships for clients, including Requests-for-Proposals (RFP’s) • Work with internal and external client leadership, including Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)

Co-head of the risk management division, and partner of this insurance-based administrator firm. Expanded current client relationships and was the lead salesperson for new client opportunities. Managed over a large school construction program and overall Risk Management services for Connecticut Municipalities and a bond authority in New York State.

Was acquired by Marsh & McLennan in 1997. Had management roles in the Middle Markets, IBS Department, handling the largest accounts. Managed up to 55 professionals, creating programs that generated above-market growth rates by improving the generation of RFP proposals to improve the close rates and lower the acquisition costs per new client. Used the acquisition by Marsh & McLennan as the time for a family-based sabbatical.
