Initiated Society's first major gift program; responsible for cultivation and development of Angell Memorial Animal Hospital donors. Created major gift operating plan; introduced major gift concepts to administrators, senior veterinary staff; supervised and trained a staff of three. Worked with senior veterinary staff to identify, approach and solicit major gift prospects; served as development liaison to Angell's Chief of Staff.

Coordinated and conducted annual giving program; yearly revenue: $1.5 to $3 million. Produced individual leadership gift club solicitation averaging $1 million annually through personalized staff and volunteer solicitations. Executed corporate appeal from nationally recognized corporate chairperson to Fortune Five Hundred Companies. Supervised volunteer fundraising activity; revenue per event ranged from $5,000 to $75,000.

Established capital development programs ($1 to $3 million range) in private secondary schools with enrollments of 250 to 1,500 in NE. Trained administrators and volunteers; hired permanent directors. Devised campaign plans, prospect strategies, and created campaign materials.

Assistant Director/Acting Director Capital & Annual Programs. Assisted in organizing TTOR’s first capital drive ($10 million) in then 100-year history. Responsibilities: develop solicitation strategies for major donors; conduct prospect research, produce campaign collateral; worked 1 on 1 with campaign leaders and volunteers. Reorganized annual fund program; Expanded leadership gift club (doubled membership in three years); Upgraded annual program; increased donor base and revenue from $82,000 to $250K in three-years; Designed and implemented first corporate membership program netting $10,000 year one.

School of Veterinary Medicine, administrative staffer in $10 million kick off campaign for first veterinary school in New England. Prepared major donor prospect profiles; Assisted in planning and executing special events and fundraising benefits; Managed office and monitored budget reports and prospect tracking system.Department Assistant, School of Medicine and Dental Medicine. Implemented annual fund mailings for 15,000+ alumni (including leadership gift group); coordinated and staffed volunteer telethons and special events for leadership gift club; staffed alumni reunions.
