I served on the organizing committee for the first two Maryland Women's Conferences, and also was a presenter on the topic of "Marketing for Small Businesses" at the third conference.

I served as Marketing Chair for the FCCFW, promoting the Commission's activities and publicizing events. I also headed up the FCCFW's County-wide Needs Assessment Survey.

This included hiring staff, managing budgets and establishing compliance procedures within a highly regulated industry. Reporting to senior executives, I created, executed and monitored marketing plans that helped the corporation to achieve its branding and strategic goals. Coordinated marketing activities with those of our publicly held parent company, California Federal Bank.Also created an employee communications program and established a protocol for effectively managing complaint letters to executives.
