With more than 30 years of experience in hotel management and event planning Diane has played a major role in shaping the landscape of hospitality in Vancouver. After completion of a Diploma at BCIT she began her career in Rooms Division at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver where she was quickly promoted to an Assistant Manager role. Following cross training in several departments she joined the team at concierge, working at the first desk of its kind in Vancouver. With the opportunity to manage her own desk, Diane moved to Let Meridien ( now Sutton Place Hotel) in Vancouver as Chef Concierge where she was instrumental, along with 5 other local concierge, in forming the west coast chapter of Les Clefs d'Or Canada, and in gaining membership to the exclusive international association of concierge world wide. After 7 years Diane returned to school at Simon Fraser University to complete a degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Communications. During that time she also worked on a major fundraising campaign for a not for profit and chaired a tourism industry annual golf- tournament to benefit BB's Children's hospital and, was introduced to the world of wedding planning, from which she has never looked back. Following a year in Whistler as opening Director of Operations at the Pan Pacific Lodge, Diane has , since 2000 , held the roles of Asst Director of Catering at Four Seasons Hotels in Vancouver and Washington, DC. Since moving back to Vancouver Diane spent 7 years as Director of Catering at Sutton Place Hotel, 3 years at Fairmont's Pacific Rim flagship property, and most recently was back at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver to manage events at Rocky Mountaineer Station, under a contract agreement between FSV and RMR.
