As a communications & cyber systems operations professional in the United States Air Force, I rely on what I learned while pursuing my master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology as well as more than 26 years of experience in various IT, logistics, and human resources roles to contribute to the evolution of the communications functional community. My approach is to lend a listening ear to our team members, see things from their perspective, and foster a sense of belonging and growth in our workplace and use their passion to drive change. I utilize my problem-solving as well as relationship bridging and building skills to encourage collaboration, innovation, and adaptation within the Air Force community. On top of all that, I find joy in partnering with others to share my experiences and learn from theirs to help them achieve personal and professional goals. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunities and challenges that have shaped my career and the effort others have poured into me, leading me to pursue excellence for others with as much humility, honesty, and vulnerability as I can.
