My team members are all vested in a successful outcome, and therefore the pathway to project completion is both logically designed and efficient. I function as a project lead, strategist, and CEO. At Camas, LLC we have three environmental business tracks: Renewable Energy: Supporting the increasing demand for rigorous compliance programs specific to this ever changing industry. Land Use Planning and Permitting: Supporting government agencies, businesses, and private landowners in meeting their environmental requirements. Sustainability and Conservation: Supporting the private landowner and/or business in meeting their stewardship goals. This track focuses on agricultural services and private landowners seeking improved stewardship opportunities. We are certified WBE and DBE.I have also founded the Young Geniuses Network, mentoring program in which a group of recent college graduates from the environmental and natural resources fields attend weekly calls. This service is provided voluntarily, and is my way of giving back to the industry by assisting these geniuses to find their first environmental job placement. Brookfield Renewable Energy Group operates wind, solar and hydro operations through out North and South America totaling more than 8,000 MW of energy. During my time at Brookfield I was responsible for managing the wind, hydro and solar environmental, regulatory, land use, and government affairs issues for the western US assets. In addition, I participated in multiple due diligence efforts, determining potential environmental risks and opportunities for new acquisitions.

Compliance and FERC relicensing manager for 19 dams located in southern Oregon. In this position I was responsible for FERC relicensing, mitigation measure implementation, settlement agreement negotiations, conservation plan development and implementation, regulatory permitting with listed species, EMS program development and implementation, staff environmental training. During this timeframe I participated in many public participation processes, regulatory legal proceedings, and technical scientific forums generating a balanced solution for all parties. These responsibilities spanned from managing a mitigation fish hatchery operated by California Fish Wildlife to a coho fund mitigation fund enhancement program, to facilitating a day-to-day operational staff commitment to upholding the regulatory requirements.

During my 8 years at PacifiCorp I functioned in several roles: N. Umpqua Hydro re-licensing lead, Hydro Strategist, FERC License Implementation Manager. All of these roles and responsibilities enabled me to gain valuable experience in the FERC regulatory arena, as well as the day to day operations of a large energy corporation.
