Diane Lyons is a seasoned New Orleans events specialist, business leader and award-winning event and meeting planner with expertise across a wide range of areas including corporate and Incentive meetings, logistics, budgeting, education/training, festivals, product /service development, sales and key account management, social media and business development. Lyons is an Innovative marketer with in-depth insights into brand creation, positioning and development and has more than 30 years of experience producing globally recognized special events.Lyons is deeply committed to her community and the hospitality industry, serving on a myriad of boards and organizations, teaching, writing and mentoring young adults. She lives her goal to “rebuild New Orleans one event at a time”.She currently serves on the boards of directors for New Orleans & Company (formerly New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau) and the New Orleans Multicultural Tourism Network and is a member of the American Heart Association Circle of Red. She is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association, a member of the Financial Insurance Conference Planners, Meeting Professionals International, the Association of Destination Management Executives International and the International Live Events Association, as well as the Women Business Enterprise Council South, the Women’s Presidents’ Organization and the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce.
