Worked within the Natural Sciences department to develop and implement education projects on geology. This included managing the very successful Geology Map of Scotland project, an initiative that involved 130 schools across Scotland, teaching them about earth sciences and having them collect local rocks to be made into a giant real life geological map of.

In charge of assimilating the organization's COSHH (chemical H&S) and Risk Assessment records, assisting departments in ensuring their completion and accuracy. Responsible for the development and maintenance of a central database for these records.

Workshop facilitator for teachers, to instruct them in delivering ESEU's teaching units on earth sciences and Scotland's Geology. Was also heavily involved in the development of these units prior to this time, as part of my work at National Museums Scotland.

As part of the Research Communication in Action program, I co-developed and co-delivered a series of workshops to science students who did outreach projects to schools and the public. The goal was to enhance their skills in communicating science to non-specialists.
