I am a seasoned executive director with 20+ years of strategic planning and program development experience in the nonprofit sector. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for media relations, as well as for growing revenue channels, I have a verifiable history of contributing directly to organization growth and expansion throughout my career. As such, I have consistently exceeded budgetary and performance goals and I am adept at achieving maximum output with minimal resource expenditure. Professional focal points include marketing and media planning, website management, board administration, team leadership, fundraising, and corporate partnerships. Delivering superior administration on the latter areas of expertise requires utilization of effective communication skills, negotiation skills, as well as business acumen, budget analysis, time management and resource management to support efficiency and maximum returns. Currently, I am the Executive Director of Project ECHO. Under my leadership, I have increased programmatic outreach by 2,500% by creating and expanding programs that went from 100 students enrolled in Southern California high schools, to more than 2,500 enrolled in more than 100 schools located in seven states. I’ve successfully partnered with Los Angeles Unified School District, in addition to creating contracts for fee-for-service programs with other nonprofit organizations, including After School All Stars, and others. I oversee all activities, staff, programming, operations and fundraising for the organization that now serves middle and high school students.
