Executive Producer/Distributor/Content Developer - Canada/UKWith 25+ years in the media industry and a passion for creative deal-making and partnership, I work across development and distribution to marry creative and commercial strategy to meet market demand and create long-term value for all parties. In my role as EVP Commercial Strategy & Content Financing, I work with Blue Ant’s development, channels and distribution teams to shape new content for the international market to secure commissions, presales and coproductions, retaining valuable rights positions and creating ongoing partner value. Prior to joining Blue Ant Media, I was EVP, Rights & Executive Producer at marblemedia and Distribution360 overseeing all sales and acquisitions activity, working with marblemedia’s internal development teams and with the company’s third-party production partners, to bring great content to buyers around the World. I also spent over 13 years at Brunico Communications launching and steering many of their market-leading events including Realscreen Summit and Kidscreen Summit and overseeing leading print titles such as Realscreen, Kidscreen, Playback, Strategy and Boards, working across editorial, sponsorship, advertising and audience development. In 2013 I decided to pursue a lifelong passion for interior design and completed a degree at the highly-regarded KLC School of Design underwritten by the University of Brighton and then worked as a designer at contemporary design studio Cloud Studios, on high-end residential projects, before setting up my own design consultancy, dkjr studios.
