Responsible for managing Member Banks borrowing capacity by analyzing pledged collateral and daily activity of their available borrowings for custody, listing and blanket Members..Analysis of Member Desktop Collateral verification reviews.Conducting new product model testing for various ongoing implementations.Provides operational analysis related to collateral pledged by member banks under both blanket and custody liens to secure advances. Also performs analysis related to collateral verifications and property inspections using The Banks written procedures, which are based on standards established by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Analyze the adequacy of various loan documents for collateral delivered into the Bank’s collateral vault and pledged under blanket lien, including the analysis and review of appraisal reports and mortgage notes to ascertain that a security interest can be perfected by the Bank in underlying collateral in the event of default. Perform collateral verifications and collateral inspections on pledged commercial property to ascertain type/class and value of property. · Assists in the maintenance and specifications requirements of collateral department accounting systems within the Bank, including development of user requirements and testing scenarios.· Produce and maintain various reports and analysis pertaining to a collateral verifications, collateral valuations, UCC filings, and property inspections.· Provides analysis and interpretation of related Federal Housing Finance Board regulations. Perform regulatory compliance reviews of Collateral department policies and procedures.· Analyze, review, and value assets being pledged as security for advances from loan files furnished by the member.· Assists in the ongoing maintenance of collateral system data and customer information.· Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
