I have been with the Whirlpool Appliance Delivery Account since 1994. Starting as a temp in July of 1994, I became a full time employee with ERX in February of 1995. We have experianced several changes through the years, becoming Whirlpool Quality Express, then Penske Logistics. I have been afforded many opportunities to advance - starting as a Clerk at the Detroit Local Distribution Center. In February 2000 I was choosen to travel thoughout the United States as part of a team to teach new systems at Penske Locations (LMS - Routing Tools) - this was a wonderful experience. When the Regional Distribution Center in Columbus, OH moved to Clyde, OH - I was asked to join their team as the Office Manager. My duties included hiring new staff / opening the new office's / maintaining all supplies / billing / customer service / special projects. When Sears contracted with Whirlpool to do their home deliveries, I was asked to go to the Chicago Local Distribution Center as the Sears Sales Representative from June 2001 through January 2002. Upon returning to the Clyde RDC, I took over all of the Canadian Freight until June of 2003 when I accepted a Dispatching position. In June of 2005 I was offered a new position, Logistics Center Supervisor (now Sr. Operations Supervisor). When the RDC moved back to the Columbus, OH area, I relocated with them.I would love to remain a part of Penske's Team, but as things change we need to set out on new adventures.
