Leaders for Learning is dedicated to providing training solutions for schools, administrators, and teachers in K-12 settings. Consultants support schools with PD for instructional leadership that positively impacts student learning. As a licensed provider, Leaders for Learning also provides specialized training and school visit support to Core Knowledge schools.

LSI is a professional development organization for K12 teachers, district leadership, and school leaders with a focus on research, technology, strategies, formative assessment, and evaluation.It is associated with the distinguished work of Robert Marzano, Dylan Wiliam, and Michael Toth.

Oversee the Association's professional development activities, including: the CASP certification program, the Institute for Managers, the Advanced Institute for Managers, the Senior Executive Institute, and the Annual Conference (program and selection). Additionally, assist the Managing Director for the CCBO with educational program development, and assist the Marketing Director with content for the Association's magazine, College Services.

Supported over 900 K-8 schools with a variety of needs, including: curriculum development, professional development, feedback from site-visit analyses, and pathways to official designations. Additionally wrote professional training programs and trained national consultants for delivery of those programs.

Instructed cohorts of aspiring administrators in the certification and masters programs in two courses: EDU 586- Principles of Clinical Supervision and EDU 581- Researched-based Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.

Conducted district and school-wide training for administrators and faculty; served as a coach for instructional leadership teams and individual teachers dedicated to enhancing their practice. Additionally co-authored The AP Teacher's Resource Book with the firm's president, Robyn Jackson.

In collaboration with Research for Better Teaching, trained system administrators and teachers in Observation and Supervision of Teaching and Studying Skillful Teaching. Conducted site visits and coaching sessions for principals, teachers, and teams. Additionally, in collaboration with the Diversity and Equity Team, crafted modules and trained staff in Leading for Equity, Action Research for Equitable Practice, The Power of Feedback, and Building Cultural Competency. Previous positions held in the 30 years in service included: Project Manager of Leadership Academy, Master Trainer for Facilitative Leadership (and training of system trainers), Project Manager for New Teacher Training and CPDE Courses certified by the Maryland State Department of Education, Project Specialist for Performance Instruction: Standards & Assessment, Teacher Specialist for K-12 Reading and English, Chair of English Department, and teacher of reading, theatre arts, English, and ESOL in urban, rural, and suburban school settings. (Four years teaching in Virginia preceded this school system.)
