My paintings explore the beauty and fragility of tiny moments that can often go unnoticed. The flux of sunlit patterns on water and foliage in rivulets and creek beds are my inspiration. Mostly painting with oils I work abstractly to reinterpret nature’s patterns, rhythms and colours.I have been awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Diploma of Education and a Graduate Diploma of Art and Design from the University of Tasmania. I enjoy the challenge of working overseas with other international artists and have undertaken art residencies in Beijing, Paris and Berlin. In November 2020, I was accepted to undertake an artist residency at the Margaret Olley/Nancy Fairfax residence at the Tweed Gallery NSW. I have exhibited in many solo shows and group exhibitions including a solo show at the New England Regional Art Museum. My work is held in public and private collections throughout Australia and overseas in London, France, Berlin and Hong Kong.
