As Douglas County's IT Coordinator, I am at the Director level and report directly to the County Board with regular interaction with the County’s Chief Administrative Officer. I am responsible for championing IT causes, making sure administrations are aware of technology needs, and work to secure the necessary funding to accomplish. I review all department-based IT initiatives to ensure consistent with existing infrastructure and technology strategic plans. I prioritize technology projects, provide advice and guidance to DOT.Comm’s CIO, work on managed service agreement, and ensure the service levels required by those agreements are adhered to.
