In April 2013 during the visit of President Putin to NL, DSM has signed three contracts for further business growth in Russia (including localization). The first contract was with the Tatarstan Ministry of Health top reduce vitamin deficiencies through supplementation of hospital patients. The other two contracts where signed with Rostec and are related to Dyneema, second generation industrial biotechnology (from cellulosic biomass to sugars for biofuels and biopolymers) and functional materials (coatings for optic fiber glass in optic fiber cables). The Regional President is reporting to the Managing Board member responsible for Eastern Europe. The Regional President is Supervisory Board member in local DSM legal entities and is regional point of reference in matters related to compliance, legal, HR and Public Affairs. Undersigned has specific experience and interest in corporate governance issues related to partnerships between Russian and non-Russian companies. The Russia strategy has been developed and integrated in the DSM Corporate Strategy 2011-2015, with an accelerated growth mission for Russia/CIS.
