Responsible for managing process and system changes to optimize the supply chain. Restructured the global planning process and implemented improved utilization of the planning systems. Worked on multiple lean projects that delivered improved process flows and drive cost reductions. These include revising the standards process to reduce PPV and streamlining the kit/build process in an instrument build line. Implemented ISO and supporting process documentation in the planning function during a successful ISO implementation. Established and managed the global service materials by directly supporting 5 international service centers.Created and managed the Supply Chain function in a start-up environment. This included designing the process, hiring personnel, training personnel to managing the individual functions. Accountable for purchasing of all material to ensure critical engineering schedules were maintained. Established and maintained the Final Assembly and Test volume function for the revenue and service level products (Field replaceable units). Established international transportation capability and managed all operational contracts. Established and managed the Sales and Operations Planning process. This process integrated revenue, internal development, customer service and safety stock levels to define material requirements. These were integrated with supplier lead times to ensure product availability to meet program and financial objectives. Responsible for the materials integration of the Networks and Communications Global Supply Chain This division represented an annual revenue stream of $700 million dollars. Directly managed the Supply Chain Product Life Cycle team and served as a member of the Division Product Planning and new product team delivering 16 new products in a 6 month period. Reduced European logistics cost, eliminated redundant work by 30% and improved Customer Ship predictability by driving changes to procurement and stocking models.Specialties: Supply Chain Operations including manufacturing, driving competitive analysis and demand planning through procurement.
