• For utilities, we support the design and evaluation of energy efficiency programs, ensuring that they deliver energy efficiency and are cost effective.
• For energy service companies and investors, we ensure that projects are designed correctly and that they deliver the savings envisioned during the project’s design.

• I co-founded and co-directed a 10-year, $22M program that supported research, training and outreach for cross-university program that engaged over 50 faculty from 6 schools.
• Oversaw program activities that included problem-driven research initiatives, a competitive faculty seed grant program, an international fellows program, and private policy dialogues with senior leaders in academia.
• Supported collaborations and fieldwork around the world with initiatives in Brazil, India, China, and Eastern Africa.
• Provided strategic planning, fundraising, and oversight for research administration and operations management, including budgeting, space planning, human resources, and communications.
• Co-editor of special feature in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
• Served on advisory boards and review committees for National Research Council, NASA, Canadian government, and universities to evaluate program effectiveness.

• I managed an international, interdisciplinary research group on sustainable development of natural resource systems in the developing world fostering collaborations and fieldwork in SE Asia, Africa, Mexico, and South.
• Built international network with the collaboration of colleagues at Harvard, National Academy of Sciences, Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, AAAS, foreign academic and government institutions.
• Served as Executive Director of Global Environment Assessment project that trained 48 student fellows and resulted in 3 books and 40+ papers.

I managed an international, interdisciplinary project on global environmental risks and assessments. This 40-person team, based in eight countries, produced two books that I co-edited (MIT Press, 2001).
