Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) System and Software Engineer for the European programme NEURON, subcontracted in Cassidian (an EADS company).I took an active part in the design of the Ground Control System (GCS) both at system and software level, for DO-178B level C and no level subsystems within the GCS. In addition, I participated on verification and integration tasks for different subsystems and for the entire and integrated GCS.

Main tasks:- Designing and programming of the Ground Control Station (GCS) of various Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) using C and Matlab languages.- Designing and programming of the Flight Control System (FCS) of the UAV using Simulink.- Programming of an application capable of introducing errors into the stereoscopic navigation system of a Mars Rover (Exomars) of the ESA.

Design and implementation of the Graphical User Interface (GUI / HMI / MMI) of the GCS (Ground Control Station) of a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) using Matlab, and design and testing of the Navigation and Flight Control Systems of the UAV using Simulink.
