I trained in R, applied mathematics/statistics, machine learning, and econonometric tools necessary for policy research under the direction of Dr. David Puelz, Director of Policy Analytics. In addition, I assisted in cleaning and gathering data involving Covid metrics in Texas schools, and processed data from paper to CSV on Texas retirement home conditions.

I was a teaching assistant co-leading the TA sessions teaching data analysis, machine learning, and causal inference in Python. Additionally, I assist Dr. Taylor Canann, Director of Policy Research Lab in a project involving the effects of Texas school lockdowns on public health and academic performance. I supported the weekly macroeconomic briefings to the President by compiling and analyzing data in Python and Excel; as well as performed econometric analysis in Stata and R under the direction of research analysts and economists for projects on labor and international economics.
