I am a future student of COS and have tried my best to take advantage of the many opportunities presented before me, as well as doing my best to help the community.In 2020, before the COVID lockdown, I took part in a a community event which aimed towards making a difference in our local cities and communities. In my elementary school, I volunteered with other students to host and create a plan to make a difference. We decided to create a Special Needs Olympics, which was a great success. This scholarship not only motivated me to get the best grades I could, but also helped me boost my GPA. Through REAP, I was able to earn nearly $8K from my grades (both during 7th & 8th grade, as well as my high school years) for my pursuit of an education past high school.During my time as a high schooler, I also took part in Track & Field, as well as Cross Country. I stayed fit and attended practices in order to keep up with the increasing distances required during races. I did both of these sports throughout all four years of high school.Another opportunity I took advantage of during high school was any college classes being offered as dual enrollment classes, meaning, classes we could take as high schoolers which would give us extra college credit and make our college lives easier to complete. I took some college Computer classes, took a Spanish AP class, as well as a Psychology and Social Psychology class.I am and always have strived to improve my dedication and work attitude. I can and am wholly committed in completing tasks set in front of me, always striving to do the best.
