Diego is currently a fourth-year chemical engineering student at Tec de Monterrey with a high interest in strategy, data, sustainability consulting and process optimization as career opportunities. He is an advocate for perpetual learning and problem resolution in creative ways, and his primary hobbies are horticulture, sports and film analysis.Regarding academics, Diego was awarded with honors when graduating from the International Baccalaureate at PrepaTec Eugenio Garza Sada in May 2019, and is currently maintaining an academic scholarship based on ranking and selectivity. During his time at PrepaTec, he was selected as one of the two Tec Ambassadors, and therefore, was able to represent the student body and develop communication and presentation skills through information sessions, tours and speeches to more than 200 prospective students at a time. He was also President of the Student Debate Club and the Electoral Committee for two years. Diego worked as an Engineering Intern at Embotelladora DOSAL during his first semester in university. Moreover, he has been working as a Private Academic Tutor since early 2018, covering almost 10 hours per week of diverse content ranging from middle school to high school academics.Currently, he is starting to develop his career in consulting as an active member of the Tec Consulting Club, in which he participates in consulting workshops, voluntary cases and seminars from a series of consulting firms ranging from the MBB to smaller more local firms.
