About Diego Roucour De Corral

I help fathers, mothers and teachers to know how to set limits in their lives from a correct emotional management to have more confidence and security, and thus, be the best role model for their sons, daughters or students and leave behind the frustration and the exhaustion.If we want to take care of people, an essential step is to learn to take care of oneself through a deep self-knowledge.Before starting this new stage, I spent 11 years working in the business field in international contexts. I held the position of Commercial Director of Europe for 4 years leading a team of 8 people. I had a position on the Management Committee of a company with 150 workers and the opportunity to be part of a consulting process for the optimization of the organization.And while all this was happening, fatherhood arrived... I was achieving everything I never thought possible...! But I felt frustrated and exhausted. Does it look familiar?The opportunity to change course arrived. In 2019 I started a formative and experiential adventure that continues until now:- I traveled through Spain to train as an educator at the hands of recognized teachers and researchers in the field of mental health and education: A foundation and three universities.- I visited Montessori and traditional schools: I observed the conduct of minors for weeks. In a chair, discreet as another piece of furniture, taking notes for 90 hours to better understand their needs and natural tendencies to learn and develop. For 5 months I worked hand in hand with them, applying what I learned and developing my skills to detect and respond to their needs. I'm still learning.I currently teach structured programs for adults and minors, which have been developed at internationally renowned universities. They are interventions based on Mindfulness and related techniques that:- Address the causes of human suffering and ways to alleviate it.- They support the development of greater attentional, emotional and behavioral self-regulation, as well as positive qualities such as compassion, wisdom and equanimity.- They are nourished by theories and practices derived from contemplative traditions, science and the main disciplines of medicine, psychology and education.- Involve the participant in sustained intensive training in the practice of mindfulness meditation, in a learning process based on experiential research, and in exercises to develop insight and understanding.
