As a Cyber Security Consultant I assist my clients in increasing their resilience, efficiency, safety and security of their systems by means of the following:- Cyber security strategy: answering the question of where to begin in cyber security can be a challenging one. Fortunately we have tools and methodologies that allow us to implement powerful yet efficient strategies.- Security Engineering (Security by Design): including security from the initial design process to ensure that it does not have to be added on afterward. - Implementing cyber security management systems: cyber security, just like any other processes (e.g. functional safety, quality), needs to be managed. In the OT space this requires specific approaches to ensure that the needs of the environment are met.- Risk analyses and threat modelling: the basis of any good cyber security strategy/management system is the risk analysis. This ensures that we can prioritise our program.- Penetration testing (Head of): it is important to test the implementation of a cyber security strategy to ensure that it meets our requirements.

I completed an internship period of 4 weeks at Thinkst during the December recess. During this period I learnt a great deal about web development including GoLang. On completion, the project was pushed to Github and was merged with the original code available here: https://github.com/marggraffd/go-flashpaper.
