Eric entered the U.S. Army in the mid-nineties, and subsequently served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. That same year, he founded Difference Makers (10 Strong), which was a collaborative partnership with similar subject matter experts who provided prevention training and expert consultation to various organizations around the nation. He would later serve as a Learning and Development Manager for the YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, where he was responsible for creating staff and volunteer victim advocate training with a focus on sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking.In 2022, Eric accepted a position as a Maritime Safety and Social Responsibility Analyst for the U.S. Maritime Administration, where he served as a sexual assault sexual harassment (SASH) prevention and response Highly Qualified Expert (HQE).In 2024, Eric was selected to serve as the Vice President of the DOD Safe Helpline.
