I am passionate about Digital Accessibility, and working towards a world where things just work for people regardless of their perceived barriers. As more and more content is being communicated in the digital space, and technology continues to advance, there is no reason why it shouldn't be communicated to everyone.As a strong believer that education is what truly allows us to excel as people, I am focusing my time and effort on making the education space as accessible and inclusive as possible. Educators are incredible people who dedicate their lives to sharing and fostering knowledge. However, they themselves face barriers to providing information that is accessible and inclusive of others with their limited time and resources. This is where my personal mission comes in - removing the barriers to removing the barriers. I want to make producing accessible and inclusive education content easy and instinctual for educators. I want learning to be easy and instinctual for all students. Most of all, I want to get to a point where 'accessible' or 'inclusive' doesn't have to be put in front of the word education - education just IS accessible and inclusive.I have spent close to a decade of my career in this pursuit through accessible documentation and training, and am now moving into video and lesson planning to cover all of the 'too hard' facets of education and make the world around me more accessible.
