Drawing upon over twenty five years of experience working in both the education and voluntary sectors, I offer consultancy services to schools, early years settings, fostering agencies and community organisations across the Tees Valley and beyond. My passion for exploiting all that technology can offer is unwavering in order that each and every young person achieves all that they are able to be and that they grow as positive and responsible digital citizens of this increasingly connected global community we all live in.

Providing specialist computing and online safety teaching for years 2 - 6.

Provision of specialist Computing curriculum and Online Safety teaching for children within Key Stage 2 year groups and the school SEND Support Base. Providing guidance to the school Senior Leadership Team in the strategic development of technology enhanced learning across all year groups.Leading a group of active pupil 'Digital Leaders' within school who offer peer tutoring and staff support as well as 'pupil voice' within technology developments across the school.

Delivering the Initial Teacher Training Programme as a member of the Stockton 'SCITT' team. Consulting with Head Teachers and Training Co-ordinators to organise Trainee school placements. Providing support for Partnership Representatives, Class Mentors, Trainees and schools. Providing training, support and advice as well quality assuring programme provision. Organising final assessment processes and moderation of standards.

Long standing, active member of the Education Improvement Service gaining significant experience over many years of working alongside agencies/practitioners both centrally and within schools/early years settings. Frequently led a variety of session types for pupils, parents/carers and multi-agency practitioners.This role within Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority enabled me to act effectively within a leadership capacity for a large number of initiatives. These included British Computer Society Test Centre Manager, National College ‘Strategic Leadership of ICT’ Programme Provider Team Leader delivering this national programme to Head Teachers from across the UK and acting as the Apple UK Regional Training Centre Manager for Stockton-on-Tees which was the first of its kind in the UK & Europe.I successfully fulfilled the lead role for a large number of national/local projects including the National Whiteboard Network Local Authority, Stockton-on-Tees E-Learning Team Service Level Agreement, procuring & the implementation of the Campus Stockton Learning Platform Initiative.I was an active Stockton-on-Tees Local Safeguarding Children's Board E-Safety Group member & proactive E-Safety Trainer holding CEOP Ambassador & EPICT facilitator accreditation. I gained significant experience of leading development of central curriculum resources and guidance for schools including the formation of the Local Authority E-Learning Strategy, the primary Information and Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum scheme of work and the development of the Computing curriculum 'Progression Statements' that met and exceed the 2014 National Curriculum Computing requirements.I successfully fulfilled the role of Line Manager of 4 E-Learning Advanced Skills Teachers and 3 Specialist Teachers. I was responsible for the allocation, implementation and monitoring of school support strategies along with appraisal, continual professional development and supervision procedures.

KS2 Class Teacher and Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Subject Leader. Responsible for the strategic development of this subject area in addition to inspiring technology enhanced learning across the curriculum/key stages.Policy development, school self-evaluation processes, strategic action planning & implementation, assessment procedures development, hardware & software audits, procurement, developing & leading a differentiated continual professional development programme, liaising with a wide range of colleagues and multi-agency staff.

KS2 Class Teacher. Physical Education (PE) Subject Leader, Shadow ICT Subject Leader & Leading Mathematics Teacher for Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority.Responsible for the strategic development of PE across the school. Policy development, action planning, equipment audit, procurement & dissemination, differentiated continual professional development programme, liaising with a wide range of colleagues and multi-agency staff.Provision of strategic/practical support to school ICT Subject Leader. Responsible for development of school online presence.One of only 6 Leading Mathematics Teachers providing demonstration lessons for a wide range of primary and secondary school practitioners.
