About Miranda Yang
I am a PhD student in Chemical Engineering and Food technology area at UNSW. My research focuses on flavour encapsulation using spray drying to extend the shelf-life of easily degradable liquid flavour concentrates and improve their functional performance when incorporated into food matrices. I am passionate about chemical product design, R&D and process engineering in various consumer product sectors. In addition to traditional chemical engineering with a focus on chemical process control, I am pursuing a career as a product development specialist who integrates applied science and practical skills from the engineering discipline into product development for commercialization and manufacture.
