Managing the Accounting, Financial Payroll Taxation & Administrative activities of the Company for India Operation. Preparation and reporting of monthly/quarterly financial statements, Oversee general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, and cash management.• Spearheading accounting activities of India Operation.• Setup new Accounts Department for Virtela India ( Earlier Outsourced)• Strategically restructured financial reporting processes • Key participant in the formulation and / or updating of accounting policy and procedures for the Company• Review Trial Balance, General ledger on periodical basis, review and finalize monthly, annual reports under Indian GAAP and US GAAP• Managing funds in limited treasury and cash management functions• Finalising the Books of Account, Reviewing the Statutory & Tax Audit for the company.• Preparing monthly, quarterly MIS statements on a regular basis• Oversee the daily accounting functions of A/R, A/P and G/L to ensure proper accounting records and statutory accounting policies• Handling & Managing Payroll Function with respect to Salary restructuring, Taxation, Legal Compliances.• Handled IT scrutiny cases with Tax Authorities for the FY 2008-09 & 2009-10• Involved in Transfer Pricing matters and helping auditors in preparation of Transfer Pricing report.

Reports to : Factory Head•Monthly Financial MIS report which includes detailed P&L statement for the factory, Product wise cost sheet (Based on diamond Cuts and quality) Consolidation of accounts of factory branch at Surat. Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement.•Handling & Supervising Day to day financial affair of the company.•Preparing Monthly fund requirement projection, Cash planning & disbursement schedules.•Developing System for proper Flow of information of Processing of Diamonds.•Setting up and stream ling Stock systems for consumables and Diamonds•Assisting Corporate office in consolidation of Factory accounts with the head office.•Actively involved in payroll functioning for 1200 workers working in the factory. •Labour Costing and Costing for Job work Offers.•Installing a better process cost system for working out the correct conversion cost of rough diamond into polished diamond
