• Monitoring of shift activities which includes vessel/yard operations and ensure targets and deadlines are effectively met.• Ensure that all the Supervisors are conversant with their duties & responsibilities and to provide guidance and assistance when required• Liaising with vessel agents in respect of planning & berthing of their vessels • Maintain a safe working environment and address or act accordingly wherever & whenever needed• Berthing and unberthing timeliness set up are achieved• Liaise with all the contractors for the smooth terminal operation and seamless inter shift flow of work• Liaise with inter departments for proper service from ‘supporting’ departments• Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly and to report in timely manner• Maintain appropriate professional working relationship with customers, liners and statutory authorities• Ensure all the monthly reports are completed by supervisors and to clear if any short falls.• Lead by example, adapt to changing circumstances, communicate effectively, build strong teams and to resolve problems effectively
