During my In-Plant Training at DVC Koderma Thermal Power Plant, I gained hands-on experience in various aspects of power plant operations. I visited different sites, from coal handling to power distribution, and learned about the processes involved in generating electricity from thermal power plants.At the coal handling site, I observed the process of receiving and storing coal and its transportation to the boiler. I learned about the various stages of power generation, including the boiler, turbine, and generator. I also visited the electrical and mechanical maintenance departments, where I observed maintenance procedures performed on different equipment.At the power distribution house, I learned about the process of distributing power to different locations, including transmission and distribution lines, transformers, and switchgear.The training provided me with practical knowledge about the power generation industry and the importance of preventive maintenance in prolonging the life of equipment. At the end of the internship, I was awarded a certificate of completion, recognizing my efforts and the knowledge gained during the program.Overall, the In-Plant Training at DVC Koderma Thermal Power Plant was a valuable learning experience that gave me a better understanding of power plant operations. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I gained during this internship will be useful in my future endeavors.
