Improving DoorDash's support tools in order to provide our agents, engineers and business admins with a more streamlined experience when solving problems for customers, dashers and merchants.

Created a foundational technology stack built on React/Redux/Webpack with Mocha/Chai as a test suite. This stack was originally created to support a new unified Commerce initiative (LMI products previously having been bought through independent commerce systems) but was later forked and adopted as the Platform/Core Technology engineering groups preferred front-end stack.Took a standards-based approach to writing scalable front-end architecture that would allow for easy adoption of new product acquisitions with minimal front-end changes as well as low-friction onboarding of new engineers.Maintained 90% unit/functional test coverage to ensure high-quality functional software.Mentored several junior and intermediate developers in all aspects of engineering; requirements gathering, architecture/planning, interfaces/separation of concerns, documentation and code readability, career growth, communication and avoiding/mitigating technical debt.Contributed to establishing a style guide that allows multiple platform products to achieve the same brand identity without substantial overhead to the individual teams. The style guide was then used as a contract for creating a new design library that web-based projects within the organization could consume.Rolled out the new eCommerce platform to all customers in February 2018.

Worked to develop improved Customer Support Self-Help and Self-Service websites before transitioning out of Customer Care into Engineering to be the primary developer on the front-end of an initiative to create a new unified Commerce system for the organization.Introduced the foundational technology stack for the Platform Engineering group of React/Redux/Webpack with a Mocha/Chai/Enzyme test suite which was then used for parallel projects of a new My Account site and Profile Management portal.

Lead developer on multiple properties including but not limited to the Connecticut Department of Revenue 2014 Tax Amnesty site, Ronald McDonald House Charities and developed all Amica Mutual Insurance Auto, Home, and Hispanic marketing sites.

I developed a video review portal for a BMW internal team that allowed them to verify the accuracy and quality of dynamically generated videos of BMW X3's being created in the plant.I was the maintainer of BMW's marketing content delivery system that exists in all US BMW dealerships.I did maintenance (updates and bug fixes) for BEHR Paint's touch kiosk that exists in Home Depot stores.I did maintenance for Callaway's iPad application that was distributed to the sales team as a tool for generating B2B leads.I developed the interface for a Pay-per-minute internet access kiosk that was installed in Las Vegas hotels.
