I currently work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Basic Physical Education Department (PEDB) at UGA. With my sights set on being a high school Strength and Conditioning coach, my focus has been on the Intro to Weight Training course. Teaching 10 different sections and around 250 students in weight training, I have gotten plenty of hands-on experience with students at all levels athletically. I also have experience teaching other PEDB courses such as body conditioning, ultimate frisbee, bowling, walking and jogging. In total I have taught 25 different classes, and almost 700 students.

As a manager working for the Satellite Facilities team through the Ramsey Student Center, I was responsible for the preparation of various intramural sports, as well as, general well-being and safety of students and patrons at the intramural fields. I was also responsible for the care and safety of patrons and equipment at Pound Hall, UGA's Health Sciences Campus gym. I was promoted to manager after only 4 month on the job.

As an intern coach working primarily with the football team at App State, I was responsible for the maintenance, set up and clean up of the weight-room and on-field activities, as well as, getting some hands on experience as a coach. Along with football, I assisted with the App State wrestling team's strength training.

As an intern with D1, I primarily assisted the with the younger athletes (ages 8-14). I was responsible for introducing these athletes to weight-lifting and the proper form to do so safely, as well as, working on their conditioning. I was also responsible for cleaning and preparation for miscellaneous fitness classes. Once a week, I received mentorship and applicational learning focused on nutrition, programming and other S&C related topics.
