Ensure that all functional areas of the facility are prepared and ready for the days services. Also responsible for managing and resolving immediate safety/facility hazards and communicating issues to the weekly staff for permanent solutions.

• Welding, fabricating and finishing of stainless, mild-steel, aluminum and brass handrail systems and architectural products in shop as well as performing on site fabrication, installations and repairs. • Utilize GTAW and SMAW welding processes to fuse and weld aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel and brass components into architectural assemblies as specified in fabrication drawings.• Use torches, abrasive and cold saws to cut stock material to specified dimensions and angles within given tolerances. • Use abrasives, power tools and hand tools to profile, blend and add surface finishes to welded assemblies. • Use drill presses, hand drills and magnetic drills to drill and tap holes in components to specifications on fabrication drawings within allowable tolerances. • Design and fabrication of fixtures and tooling to increase productivity and overall quality of products.• Maintain an extremely high level of quality that is not only functional, but also a pleasure to look at and feel.
