I am the proud founder and creator of a modern SaaS web-app, specializing in budgeting and portfolio management. This project was a comprehensive endeavor where I developed the core technology using React and Java, designed an intuitive UI and logo, and integrated Plaid for secure account linking. My role encompassed all aspects of the platform - from managing deployments and backend services to crafting the frontend experience, including the landing page, feature design, and architecture.This app empowers users to track their spending at favorite stores, set and manage investment portfolio targets, and view real-time stock quotes of their portfolio holdings, offering a comprehensive financial management experience. The platform includes a full suite of user functionalities like registration flows, login, password recovery, and a subscription and payment system. It's a testament to my passion for delivering holistic solutions in the fintech space.

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Finance and Risk team at Avail Car Sharing, an Allstate subsidiary, I specialized in advancing our backend RESTful API services in both development and design of new features. My focus was on providing a smooth user experience in all things finance as well as minimizing risk by implementing measures to prevent risky users from accessing our platform.

Worked with a small agile team solving real world problems for clients using the modern technologies and implementing custom designs. Accomplishments* Building out a Python based API service for account reset flows that could be completed over the phone.* Contributing to the development of a communication application similar to WhatsApp which was built with Molecular an event driven framework for Node JS.

Part of an agile based feature team that worked on the RESTFul API servicing layer supporting Chases web and mobile applications.Accomplishments* Created a full featured JavaFX based platform with a custom Cassandra GUI that resulted in a reduction of DBA requests and acceleration in data search and creation. * Designed testing frameworks for Natural Language Programming, UI, and RESTFul services. * Thrived in a remote environment, hosting virtual demos for our teams in-house applications.

Worked as a software engineering consultant for a leading bank in Chicago. Accomplishments* Completed a 6-week training program focusing on best practices for different core languages.* Refactored the code base, optimized the stored procedures and cleaned out the database.* User interface refresh updating over 250 pages using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery. * Designed automated test suite for trading flows using Selenium and Apache POI.
