New Business Plan/Relationship Management:• Develop and implement a New Business plan, including targeted account lists and an ongoing engagement plan, to significantly maximize new and existing relationships• Develop a strategic account plan for existing new business accounts to maximize revenue and manage all assigned companies/organizations year round to significantly maximize corporate, employee and special event revenues• Implement strategies to ensure campaign objectives are achieved• Prepare appropriate material (CEO call information) for use by volunteers when calling on prospective new business accounts• Develop and cultivate ongoing relationships with organizations and Campaign Leaders to improve understanding and support of United Way• Work closely with Director of Corporate Partnerships to craft strategy for solicitation of corporate and community-based grants and foundation gifts• Collaborate with grant writing team at UWMC to ensure timely submission of all grant proposalsCommunity/Volunteer Engagement:• Plan meetings, establishing goals, and organize and prepare materials for volunteer committees• Identify and execute on opportunities to engage volunteer and board member resources effectivelyDatabase Management:• Establish, track and analyze campaign goals, projections and pledge information through a variety of campaign reports• Ensure accurate data collection (data management), using ANDAR Young Leaders Society (YLS):• Develop and implement YLS Strategic Engagement Plan including recruitment and management of volunteer YLS board and non board membersYouth Board:• Manage and oversee the Lake Forest High School United Way Youth Board including fundraising and allocation of Jean Youngs Baddeley Grant

Drew upon and employed my background, training and knowledge to respond to questions and provide other assistance as requested by the CEO and VP of Community Impact, all in furtherance of the work of United Way of Greater Topeka. This work included, but was not limited to, implementation of the Impact business model, including management of the Impact Councils and insight of the strategic plan.

• Facilitated volunteers through the strategic planning process. Lead an effective and efficient investment process, along with program monitoring and reporting. Organized and developed programs to achieve community impact initiatives and policies.• Managed the activities of the organization in an effort to achieve a coordinated and effective human service system in the community.• Reviewed and recommended policy and procedure changes in existing programs and/or initiatives in light of changing conditions and in concert with community volunteer and staff input.• Promoted networking and information sharing among participating partners and stakeholders.• Utilized, maintained, and updated database on partners and funded programs.• Participated in development of and implementation of the organizational and departmental strategic and business plans.• Work with other staff to plan and implement continuous quality improvement in impact and departmental processes.

• Met with clients to discuss their business ideas and problems. Provided strategic guidance, financial projections, and marketing ideas in order to produce solid business plans and/or creative business solutions. • Provided research on companies in various industries for the Topeka Chamber of Commerce to use in recruiting business to the area.
