I am a recent graduate of Henderson State University and am currently working on my master’s degree in administration, expected to complete December of this year. I believe my strong academic background and college athletic career, along with my steadfast commitment make me an excellent candidate, despite my lack of traditional experience. Throughout my college journey, I have been afforded the opportunity to hone skills that are directly applicable to a professional career. My coursework in management and administration, which emphasized organization and professionalism, has provided a solid foundation. Additionally, my role as a college baseball player for all six years of my college time has taught me valuable skills like leadership and flexibility. With my commitment to my sport and my team, I have had limited time for actual work experience. However, during the summers I have been able to work different jobs. This past summer I was able to work a paid internship with Majestic Park in Hot Springs. My position with Majestic helped me gain hands-on experience in organizational operations, the management of team members, and to develop interpersonal skills with other professionals.
