About Dillon Young

My professional experiences started at 17 when I began working at Kroger as a courtesy clerk during high school. Since then I have always had positions where customer service and care are a top priority, giving me over 10 years of customer care and customer service experience.After graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with a BS in Marketing I began my automotive industry career at Jake Sweeney Automotive where I worked closely with upper management to cultivate an online presence and share our automotive culture with the greater tri-county area. It was the start of my career in automotive, however, my family has a long history in the automotive industry.After my time came to an end with Jake Sweeney I continued working in the industry with a Saas leader in the industry, CDK Global. I started off on the technical side as a CTA and after a few years of great customer service and dozens of phenomenal customer surveys, I was promoted to Customer Success Manager where I really found my niche in the company. I was able to use all of my experience in customer support and automotive to really grow and cultivate relationships with my clients and help them grow their businesses.Due to the changes in the economy and in the SaaS industry, the Customer Success department was laid-off. Thankfully after 5 months of searching for the right fit I found my next adventure on my automotive journey at myKaarma. I work on the deployment team as an Application Setup Consultant. As an ASC I handle incoming orders for our Scheduler Plus tool from either new rooftops or current clients wanting to upgrade. I work as the consultant liason for the client by answering initial questions, making sure the tool is configured and calibrated for DMS integration, validating work flow and transport capacities for the service department and individual advisors, and ensuring a smooth transition to the myKaarma space.Outside of automotive my hobbies and passions include freshwater fishing, firearms, hunting, and weightlifting.
