Python expert skilled in Fortran, C, C++, and general mathematical modeling. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics (Astrophysics) from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), a Master's Degree in Astronomy from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), and a PhD in Astronomy from the University of Maryland, College Park.My research focuses on how the atmospheres of planets, ranging from terrestrial, Earth-like exoplanets, to highly irradiated giant planets (or "Hot Jupiters"). I have worked in interdisciplinary teams including geologists, astrobiologists, atmospheric scientists, astronomers, and software developers. I've also lead and been active within software development collaborations throughout my career. I have focused on improving and creating new astrophysical and atmospheric models, as well as web-based applications to make these models more accessible to the general public.I have significant leadership experience as a part of workplace and local communities.
