In this role I was responsible for the preparation of various subcontract agreements for the execution of a variety of erection activities regarding the projects of Samsun 880MW CCPP and Denizli 775MW CCPP as well as for the procurement of various equipment. My main responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the following: Preparation and monitoring of Project Cost Analysis Preparation of Request for Quotation for each erection activity considering also company contractual obligations towards the client Careful evaluation of each subcontractor in order to reassure that he meets company strict HSEQ requirements Search and selection of adequate subcontractors for the execution of each activity Cooperation with Project Managers and Lead Engineers to identify similar activities across multiple projects in order to take advantage of the related pricing Reply on technical or commercial queries raised by the subcontractors with the support of project lead engineer Review of the bidding process and evaluation of suppliers’ offers, technically and commercially, with the support of the engineering department Participation in the negotiation stage with the most favorable subcontractors  Recommendation of subcontractors based on price evaluation, target time schedule and quality, consistent with company requirements. Composition and finalization of subcontract agreements and assignments in collaboration with the associated company departments (legal department, engineering department, project management department) Receipt of all necessary documentation according to contractual obligations (inspection & test plan, method of statement, risk assessment, lifting plan, etc.) Follow up of the issuance and expiration of good performance and advance payment bonds  Monitoring invoices issuance and payments according to contractual terms.

My main responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the following: Preparation and monitoring of Project Procurement Plan Preparation of Request for Quotation according to each contract Careful evaluation of each vendor in order to reassure that he met company’s strict quality requirements Search and selection of adequate vendors for the scope of each project Reply on technical or commercial queries raised by the suppliers, with the support of project lead engineer Review of the bidding process and evaluation of suppliers’ offers, technically and commercially with the support of the engineering department Participation in the negotiation stage with the preferable suppliers  Composition and finalization of supply agreements and purchase orders in collaboration with the associated company departments (legal department, engineering department, project management department) Receipt of all necessary documentation according to contractual obligations (inspection & test plans for material fabrication, material certificates, Factory Acceptance Test reports, etc.) Transportation and logistics arrangements Monitoring invoices issuance and payments according to equipment’s delivery & commercial terms  Cooperation with Project Managers and Lead Engineers to identify similar materials across multiple projects in order to take advantage of the related pricing Keeping record of the global prices of copper & steel (acc. to LME) in order to secure best prices for main erection materials Continuous monitoring of suppliers performance and suggestions for appropriate actions or preventive measures in case of supplier issues, delays, quality issues, non-conformances.

In this role I was responsible for the supervision of the erection activities of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator steel structures & main and interconnecting pipe rack steel structures of the project of Ag. Nikolaos 430MW IPP. My main responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the following: Review and study of the respective erection drawings Tracking of the materials at the lay-down area and handing over to the erection sub-contractor Supervision of the erection activities in order to reassure the proper and on-time installation of the structures according to project’s drawings’ and specifications. Seeking for the best feasible solution regarding the various issues that arose during the performance of the erection activities (such as manufacturing mistakes and clashing points with pipelines) Recording of the main activities performed and problems encountered in the respective daily log book. Composition and signing of the respective erection completion protocols.
