I'm an Information Technology Manager responsible of delivering software solutions by leading application development teams through diverse projects, with 14 years of experience in handling, analyzing, designing, coding, testing and supporting information systems in global financial companies, using different technological platforms and agile methodologies.Recently, I successfully coordinated efforts related to security reinforcement in around 10 different systems, in order to comply with controls to secure customer's sensitive information and to adopt global security standards. Also, I established, coached and enhanced the usage of agile/scrum in at least two different development teams, in order to support technology modernization, migration to cloud and business related projects.Additionally, I actively supported the IT Shared Services Center in Costa Rica, by facilitating the growth of around 40% of its population in the last couple of years (headcount increase from 120 to 170 resources) and by being one of the local matrix manager supervising the operation of one third of the IT population, which sums up to 50+ resources of different teams reporting to distinct business units.Regarding my personal style, colleagues often describe me as a skilled person in people management, accompanied with well-rounded technological knowledge applied to project handling, highly accessible and open to discussion.
