I am currently a Year 3 student at Republic Polytechnic's School of Applied Science. I am currently pursuing a specialization track on biotechnology research and working through the polytechnic pathway. I have volunteered in a lot of service-learning activities which includes a lot of public relations-based activities and I have gained a lot of useful experience. I am currently a subcommittee member in Eureka Interest Group and NYAA Interest Group which allows me to take part in a lot of service-learning and physical activities. I have also worked as a part-time worker at a mall which has increased my speaking skills and I am more confident to face new peoples.Besides, I have also learned mental arithmetic and abacus education which has improved my math skills and I have participated in 2 international championships and graduated with a higher grade. I have gained a lot of useful knowledge and relevant laboratory skills by learning the life science modules in my course. Participating in laboratory sessions has given me the opportunity to take part in experiments and I have gained a lot of useful laboratory skills that will useful for research works.As a biotechnology student, I aspire to contribute to the biotechnology sector and solve new existing problems with the knowledge and skills that I have gained in past years.
