As an Engineer, responsible for supervising and undertaking Mechanical engineering activities related to maintenance of all operating assets to meet company business objectives.  Responsible for ensuring the provision of effective Mechanical engineering expertise, acting as site focal point for Mechanical engineering assistance, directing and assisting Maintenance activities to ensure work is adequately prioritized planned and executed to meet performance targets.  Responsible for defining the work scope for Mechanical job-packs for routine, non-routine and shutdown maintenance tasks and assisting other groups with Mechanical input to multi-discipline tasks.  Responsible for Review & Implementation of all planned maintenance activities, carry out optimization studies to minimize the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability in a timely manner.  Responsible for preventive maintenance of Rotary pumps, travelling trippers, hoists, belt conveyors, stacker cum reclaimers, side arm charge, vibrating screen, crusher, compressors, bunker ventalation system etc. Belt replacement of roller trough belt conveyor .

Study the drawings. Familiar with welding process such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW respectively. Offering Reviewing the WPS, qualifying welders as per PQR and WQT. Coordinating and monitoring all the heat treatment works such as preheating, interpass and post heating temperature of the welding.
