- As part of this role, supported team in identifying, screening and executing new technologies/capabilities across plastics/polymers for Trane Technologies products across all business units/products.- Possess 6+ years of experience in running injection molding process simulation (through Autodesk Moldflow).- Developed internal capability to simulate thermoforming manufacturing process using ANSYS Polyflow. - Directly worked with mold builders like DME, Linear AMS and Autodesk team, to build mold inserts with conformal cooling channels and predict its benefits such as cooling time reduction using Moldflow software. - Lead technical and strategic relationships with outside partners, experts, labs to expedite our technology readiness and understanding level .- Mapped out roadmaps related to plastic/composite process simulation tools and align them with product roadmaps to enable development of new technology/capability ahead of program needs.- I managed and executed activities for new product development projects, quality/reliability projects and productivity projects. - Lead and participated interactions with material suppliers, mold builders, internal business units team and global integrated supply chain team as part of product development process. - I supported activities related to identifying components that could be converted to plastic material to reduce cost, weight and ease of assembly without compromising on quality of part. Prepared business case for various such components and reviewed with product management team as part internal productivity process flow.- In this role, utilized external consultants, appropriate test equipment, simulation tools to identify potential reasons for failure in a component. I had used 9 step problem solving technique to identify cause for failure and implemented potential solution that avoided failure.

-In current role, i support various new product development, productivity, quality and reliability projects through Moldflow simulation . - Closely work with product groups to aid in right material selection for intended applications.- - Developed internal standard documents to perform Moldflow analysis, which insures all the modeling criteria are met prior to running analysis and it also helps in interpreting result.
