In September 2015, I swam with numerous reef sharks and a large number of giant turtles. Not metaphorically – I literally dived at one of the best dive spots on earth, the Sipadan Island.It had been two years since my last dive; I was overwhelmed and scared as hell. But I kept going and did all the dives. I’m that person. I position myself to survive, and strive to thrive in challenging times.That positive attitude coupled with a devotion to excellence at things I do, have earned me the ACCA fellowship and MIA membership.
