Founded in 1925, FES is committed to the advancement of both socio-political and economic development, social justice and sustainability in the spirit of social democracy through civic education, research, and international cooperation.In this role- at the FES Office for Regional Cooperation in Asia- I build and lead in the execution of a new pan-Asia & Europe Geopolitics, Geo-Economics and World Order programme. Mainly, we explore innovative 'beyond zero sum policies' and support/fund multilateral/cooperative approaches on a range of policy areas in the region as also advocate for a rules based order. Inter alia, my remit includes knowledge production, structuring high level policy dialogues, futures/strategic foresights generation, stakeholder management, policy advisory & advocacy, and communications. I used to host a podcast Disrupted Asia- where I spoke with Asia’s and Europe’s experts on the trends and driving forces shaping the Geopolitics of the region and the global order of tomorrow.
