Test Engineer
Current• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.• Identify software defects and log them in Jira, tracking them through to resolution and ensuring that all defects are properly documented and reported.• Provide regular reports on test results and progress to stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and developers, to ensure transparency and visibility.• Develop and maintain test strategies for project testing, including identifying test scope, test approach, and test deliverables.• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using the appropriate test automation tool to ensure efficient and effective testing.• Create and execute manual tests to ensure products meet the highest quality standards, including functional, usability, API, and exploratory testing.• Perform other related duties as assigned by management, including participating in process improvement initiatives, providing training and support to junior team members, and contributing to developing testing processes and procedures.
