Provide ongoing analytical support to management including preparing budgets, 5-year plans and monthly forecasts, in support of leadership decision making and prioritization.Business partner with US R&D Leadership, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development,Project Management on early and late stage clinical projects. Provide strategic support to US SGA departments to include Legal, Portfolio, Compliance, IPMG and Business Development to develop robust and actionable monthly forecasts. Engaged in M&A due diligence. Work closely with Global FP&A and Accounting teams to oversee the monthly financial close and deliver robust monthly reporting to senior management that highlight key business drivers and risks.Own the monthly close and all forecasting/planning efforts for the R&D organization. Prepare variance commentary when needed to inform outcomes and assumptionsProvide monthly financial transparency to Business Partners. Actively collaborates with the R&D program managers and cross-functional team leads (e.g. sales, strategy, procurement) on financial modeling, risk assessment, project recommendations, business case reviews. Support R&D portfolio review, valuation and strategic planning. Adherence to GAAP principles on capitalizations vs expensing applications. Assist with evaluation of potential strategic BD opportunities.Works in conjunction with the project and clinical teams to develop and monitor project development plans including financial impact of changes to project scopes and timelines.Experienced in working with fast-paced matrix teams in multiple geographies.
